Supply Chain Council Management Team Leaders

Max Henry, Founder & Executive Director

 

Max has spent 20 years in Asia (whom 12 years in China), living and working in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok, Beijing and Shanghai. Graduated from France's ISG business school, Max initially started his career in trade publishing and media. For the past 12 years, he has engaged actively in developing supply chain and logistics solutions for both overseas SMEs and foreign-invested companies in China: running a strategic sourcing consulting firm Sinosources, developed a B2B platform Sparkice.com and managed a supply chain solution provider ECnet. More recently, he was the director of Trans-Access Solutions, a value-added logistics platform operator in China. Max is the founder and the director of the Global Supply Chain Council and currently dedicates his full time in leading this growing professional organization across Asia.

Jenny Kim, Director & Partner

 

Jenny started as marketing consultant at FAGE (World United Fashion Co. Ltd.) supervising market research and distribution strategy in Beijing and Shanghai. During that position, she provided the company with valuable market information such as local trends and co-sponsorship. She later worked with a sourcing company, sinosources, playing an active role in the interface and the development between key clients abroad and local suppliers. For more than 5 years, she succeeded effectively identify and negotiate deals with Chinese manufacturers and helped turn sinosources into a small but profitable operation. Jenny is the local representative and director of the council's Chinese local partner, Shanghai Golden Technology Co. Ltd.

Monica Liau, Chief Editor, CHaINA Magazine

Monica Liau has been based in China for over 3 years, first coming to China for a Fulbright fellowship focused on ecotourism business development in Sichuan and Yunnan. She stayed out west as a Freelance business writer until 2009, when she moved to Shanghai. In Shanghai, she continued writing in depth analysis for several business magazines, and acted as a media consultant and freelance editor for groups like Accor hotels, Ogilvy, Enjoy Shanghai and 21cms. As editor of CHaINA, she is always looking for new ways to make CHaINA magazine the best way to get your Supply Chain news and analysis. She welcomes opinions, new ideas and contributions. She is also bilingual.

How Xu, Chief Designer

How graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), major in graphic design.  He has designed for a lot of advertisement, fashion magazine and web site for exp. He was working for BraiNet communications. From 2005, How start working with the council. He is in charge of the majority of the design, include the graphic design (the event brochure, CD cover, event program, directory, posters, adv…design.), web design (button, icon, flash…), stage designing, etc. He did many great jobs in Logistics in China Event, IPO conference, Chaina Summit… Now his design is getting into disparate fields.

Acco Fang, Designer

Acco works as graphic designer in the Global Supply Chain Council. She graduated from SJTU. Her major was art design. When in school, she worked for Shanghai Broadzii tool design company as graphic designer. After graduating, she started work in shanghai Henju technology co. as UI designer and in charge of user’s interface of software product, website and other graphic stuff. She also joined “yellow page” program and work for the shanghai telecom’s website. She enjoys design, and fresh stuff. Then she came to the council. Here her new life start~
